In May 2026, we have an inspection team visiting the Madhesh province of southern Nepal, an area that’s highly populated by the Dalit community, who have been the most discriminated against caste in Nepal. We plan to identify and visit 3 schools, to hold seminars, and gift period packs to 1000 girls.

2026 will be a year of fundraising in readiness for a major push on projects in late 2026 and 2027. The areas we work in are prone to extreme poverty and natural disasters. Once we agree to partner on a project, people expect a firm and quick time scale to start work. Remote communities don’t understand the need for us to raise money, they feel let down or worse, tricked if we’re not in a position to start straight away. We have to ensure our reserves are sufficient to honour the cultural contract that comes with working in remote regions.

In early 2027, we’re planning a major field trip, which will be long and arduous. We will be going to areas westerners haven’t been, well off the tourist map of Nepal. We will be visiting schools with days for Girls and quietly assessing them for potential computer labs. We may open this up to visitors, it will be at your own risk, and numbers will be strictly limited, but it will be incredible.
